Sarni Jaye is an award-winning public relations and branding specialist. She received her B.S. in journalism from the top-ranked Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism and her master’s degree from the University of Houston. She combined her media expertise with her desire to help people grow, entering a field where both skills are essential: PR and brand development. Diane Tezeno is co-founder and managing editor of Empower Magazine, Inc. and former public relations and marketing director for the Bethel’s Place Black Chamber of Commerce. Her desire is to provide entrepreneurs with a platform to showcase their ventures and the tools to build thriving businesses that develop economic power, provide jobs and revitalize communities. She worked as a reporter for Houston Community Newspaper and freelance contributor for the Houston Chronicle. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.
